Shuttle U Home
Syracuse University's Shuttle U Home (SUHome) service provides free transportation from the campus for students, faculty, and staff who reside off campus within a designated geographic area. SU Home is administered by the Department of Public Safety. The purpose of the program is to reduce crime against members of the University community and to reduce the fear of becoming a crime victim.
A six-passenger van transports individuals from on-campus classes, academic programs, and co-curricular events to their off-campus residences. Most of the employees who operate this service are SU students and are trained by the Department of Public Safety. The shuttle service runs from 8:15 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. daily throughout the academic year. To use the shuttle, riders must go to the lobby of the Department of Public Safety, located in Sims Hall, and show their SU/ESF I.D. The shuttle departs from Sims Hall.
